Spindle Moulder – Sedgwick SM210

The Sedgwick SM210 Spindle Moulder features a durable cast iron table with an anti-friction planed finish, providing excellent timber support and stability. Its heavy-duty steel cabinet anchors the spindle, motor housing, and rise-and-fall mechanism. Machined cast iron components, including the bearing housing and motor mountings, ensure precision and durability. The spindle, powered by an industrial motor and sealed-for-life bearings, requires minimal maintenance.

Ease of Operation

A front-mounted handwheel controls the spindle’s rise and fall, with height displayed on an adjacent scale. The SM210 includes a cast iron horseshoe assembly with independently adjustable, precision-ground fence plates and movement indicators. Changing between four spindle speeds is quick and straightforward via belt repositioning, with a viewing panel to display pulley speed.

Versatility

The removable spindle accommodates 30mm and 1¼” diameters, with an optional router and tenoning spindles for added flexibility.
